Our Process

Connecticut Nanny Agency is dedicated to connecting you with exceptional childcare providers that best fit with your family's needs and values. It is important to us that you feel completely safe inviting this person into your home and into your children's lives. We do rigorous, in-depth background and driving record checks, speak with and authenticate their past professional childcare references, offer enrichment and certifications courses, conduct a personal interview  screening with every childcare candidate, and verify all certifications are up to date. We go through dozens of potential candidates for each position to whittle the selection pool down to the few most extroardinary candidates that match with your family. All of the childcare providers we connect you with are fully vetted, experienced, dedicated, and well-qualified individuals.

To begin the search for your nanny, please fill out our Family Contact Form or send us an email to info@ctnannyagency.com to schedule a consultation call.

Candidate Replacement Policy

ELIGIBILITY FOR A REPLACEMENT: If a permanent placement is terminated, the candidate resigns, or the client is ultimately unhappy with their placement within four months (120 days) of the candidate’s start date, Connecticut Nanny Agency (CTNA) will provide a one-time replacement search at no additional cost. The replacement request must be submitted in writing. CONDITIONS FOR A REPLACEMENT SEARCH: CTNA’s replacement guarantee is contingent upon the following: •CLIENT COMPLIANCE: All prior CTNA fees must be paid in full and on time. •TIMELY NOTIFICATION: CTNA must be notified within one week of the candidate’s termination or resignation. •NO MATERIAL JOB CHANGES: The job description, schedule, and job responsibilities must remain substantially the same as originally agreed upon. •WORKPLACE CONDUCT: The client must not have engaged in harassment, abuse, or misconduct toward the candidate. •PROACTIVE CLIENT PARTICIPATION: The client agrees to provide timely feedback on candidates and actively participates in the replacement process. IMPACT ON REPLACEMENT POLICY: If the client does not make reasonable efforts to secure a replacement or if the Client remains unresponsive during a replacement search, CTNA reserves the right to forfeit the replacement search, and no further candidates will be provided. •Failure to meet these conditions will void the replacement guarantee. CTNA reserves sole discretion in determining compliance. REPLACEMENT PROCESS AND LIMITATIONS: •CTNA will present up to five (5) qualified replacement candidates. •CTNA does not issue refunds, fee transfers, or credits for future placements. SALARY ADJUSTMENTS: If the replacement candidate’s gross annual salary differs from the original placement, CTNA reserves the right to invoice for the difference in placement fees.
